As a performer, Lianna has worked with several dance choreographers such as HeJin Jang, Ishmael Houston-Jones, Cleo Mack, Yvonne Meier, among others, as well as experimental multimedia artists such as Lisa Kusanagi and Gina Kohler. Working with these various artists through research and performance processes has given Lianna the tools to create her own multimedia work in film, photography, installations, sculptures, writing, song and sound making, dance, and poetry. Lianna's work has been shown at LadyFestCLT (2015 & 2018), Fertile Ground (2018), WAXWorks (2017), CBG Dance Fall Festival (2017), Route 11 Dance Festival (2014), American Dance Festival's Mobile Tour (2015), as well as Hollins University Dance Departments Fall and Spring shows (2013 - 2017). In conjunction with her performance-self, Lianna is an arts-administrator currently working for Danspace Project as a Development Associate and a freelance grant-writer for non-profits such as Jody Oberfelder Project, Zullo/RawMovement, Lisa Kusanagi, and Anabella Lenzu/DanceDrama. Lianna utilizes her performance practice to articulately express the hows and whys of creative work; her art-making constantly transforms and informs her occupation and ethics.
